New toy.

But I didn't spend a dime on this one!

About a year ago, I registered for a MOWER workshop here in the City of Folsom, in which they go over grass cycling, composting, and wise water use. The original one was cancelled, so they called me a couple months ago to let me know that there was one today.

Chris and I went to the composting portion of the workshop, which was interesting, but didn't really introduce anything I didn't already know.

The best part: a free compost bin! And a really nice one at that! Since Chris went with me, he totally buys into it and helped me fill it with my existing free-standing compost pile. And I mowed the lawns and he added the clippings to it too! It's about 1/2 full, but should be all the way full in a couple months.




Let the composting begin!
