Not much happening right now. The carrots are maturing quickly, one garlic sprouted, and the peas are nearly finished. In the largest bed, I've heeled in a blue daisy that I'm not sure whether it's a perennial or annual, a salvia with the same mystery, and our catnip plant.
I just realized today that the sun, being much lower in the sky in the winter than the summer, doesn't shine on the Southernmost beds (the top 2 in the picture) because it is blocked by our fence. I hope the onions that we planted will get enough sun since I hear they're kind of picky about daylight requirements.
