It should be a holiday. I love my birthday. Chris is my slave today, and I get to do whatever I want. Ice cream for lunch? Perhaps. That is unless I want Chris to make me a special grilled cheese sandwhich. (PS - I am looking forward to tomato season! A grilled cheese with tomatoes and onions is a nice treat.)
Q: What was the best present I could have received?
A: It rained/drizzled the whole night! (A Davis Vantage Pro 2 weatherstation or Giant Sedona bike would have been nice, but hey, I can still dream about them).
The Sacramento area has had rain recently, but it's been very thunderstorm like (without the thunder and lightning) in that it will have been raining 2 blocks from here, but never rained at our house.
So when Kristi at NotSoCrafty and Leslie from Growing a Garden in Davis have been reporting rain recently, we've been bone dry.
Now all the weeds will get a chance to sprout, and I shall be doubly busy over spring break week!
And a big shout out to my good friend Liz who must obviously read this blog because she sent me an REI gift card and hella funny card in the mail for my birthday!
Life is good today, my friends. Very good.
