Ok, no need to twist my arm

I didn't take this picture because I do not have a Meyer Lemon tree.

Yet.

As our backyard progresses, each week we visit the garden center on our way to the farmer's market and pick up a couple more things. Just a couple. Each week.

And their display when you walk in the gate is constantly changing. A few weeks ago, they had a beautiful Meyer Lemon tree in a really large pot (huge!). But it made me think about the perfect place for it - the back patio.

Hell, we use tons of lemons. We buy them en masse every week at the farmer's market. Just another opportunity to grow one more thing that makes sense because it's something we use a lot of.

Sunset Magazine posted a blog about Meyer Lemon trees, and the 100+ uses for them, ala the LA Times. And they produce fruit nearly yearround. SOLD!

Wish me luck convincing Chris about this on our weekly trek to the farmer's market... hehe
