I took this picture yesterday when we took the dog for a walk. I've been trying for a couple weeks to capture this picture, but he was so intent on pecking, that I was finally able to get it without spooking him.
Too tired to really post today - just got back from Chris' grandma's mother's day brunch. We rode our bikes. It seemed uphill both ways!

He's beautiful! (*meh* you've seen my attempts to capture birds in action. Mainly, they end up distant or blurry. Oh well.)
Good woodpecker shot!...bird photos are hard to catch...I just don't even go there.

Awesome photo! I'm having the hardest time photographing the birds hitting our new feeder. They just won't sit still and freak out everytime I get within 20 feet.
