Tired of litter? A positive solution.

A few weeks ago, I began picking up litter whenever I walked, simply putting it in the next trash/recycle bin I came across.

Chris says I need to bring a bag on our walks - I end up carrying a lot of trash and look like a hillbilly or something.

Anyhow. My friend Sean over at Mad Man Bamboo has decided to do something about all the litter. He's posting pictures of litter that has corporate logos emblazoned all over, because even though we all have the responsibility to make sure we properly care for the items we've used, companies have a responsibility as well.

And he wants your pictures too! Directions can be found at his new site,
http://trashwatch.blogspot.com

Even better is that he plans on highlighting companies that are doing their part for litter prevention and removal.

Go Sean!

Here's one of the few areas where I believe we should follow China's lead: they banned plastic bags at grocery stores a couple of months ago maybe more--and if you already did a post on this, apologies! Anyway, I think it's a brilliant idea.

themanicgardener - Actually, I did blog about that when it happened because I was so excited about the good news! :0) Thanks for the comment though!

Titania - Isn't Sean's idea great? I love it too.

Sean - You can always count on me for that. :0)
