DivaCup Month 2: The Final Review

Last month I posted about my struggled with the DivaCup. Just when I thought I had figured it out, my time to test was over.

Well, this month I tried again, using the techniques I acquired last month, and I hate to say I wasn't successful. The seal kept failing and I wasn't able to use it properly. Whenever I sat or laid down, the seal would fail and let's just say that I had to do more laundry this last week than normal...

So although it pains me greatly, I'm giving up on the DivaCup adventure. I can't use something that isn't reliable, and it seems counterintuitive to me to use a pad while I give the DivaCup month after month to work. That is precisely what I am trying to avoid!

What now? I think I'm going to look into Seventh Generation tampons for now. Although they do produce waste, at least they're not (as) toxic (as) like others.

And there's the silicone DivaCup (Size 1) that is just sitting in my house now. Hmmm.
