I’ve been thinking a lot recently about a water post. Drafted it while trying to fall asleep many times.
To me, safe, clean water is feeling the squeeze, and we need to manage and use it wisely (like everything else, in my opinion), yet everyday we all see people wasting it unnecessarily (including me to water my front lawn). I use drip irrigation in my vegetable and perennial gardens, and we reuse shower, sink, and other gray water from the house for the fruit trees. I act as though water use is restricted because sooner or later, it just may be.
Buckets are very valuable in my house!
Found a great article here about Peak Water being the next Peak Oil, and it says everything I wanted to say, but in a more intelligent manner.
