Intriguing mix! I like to see clothes hanging out to dry.

What a great idea! If I get ambitious enough today, I just might copy you on my own blog ... Which really needs updating. :-)

What a wonderful, wonderful way to remember and honor the old year. I just loved it.

That is such a unique way of doing a blog! I would completely agree with Nan. May I ask you one question? How do you like the wall o' water, that you put on top of your tomatoes or other plants?

I love your photos, they tell such stories. I always forget to take photos of things when I'm doing projects, such as your shot of the compost heaped up waiting to be spread.

Awesome post Katie! A Happy New Year to you both!

Kathy - I think there is something interesting about the clothes on the clothesline. I am drawn to take pictures.

jesshibb - I think you should do that! I saw someone do something similar, and thought pictures only would be an interesting idea. Flickr stores pictures by month, so it was pretty easy.

Nan - Thanks! Happy New Year!

The Organic Gardener - Sometimes pictures are better without explanations. :0) I love the wall o'waters and won't grow tomatoes without them again. Look for the red ones if you can find them. You could probably use them for other plants as well!

Mr. McGregor's Daughter - Thanks! I always love before and after pictures, so much of what I take ends up telling a story. That pile was 2x that size originally!

Laura - To you and Mark as well!

Oh Katie, this pictorial view of your year was just wonderful! I actually considered doing something similar to review my 2008, because I just didn't have the energy to do a write-up version. Should I still do it, or would that be copying?

Katie said...

Lisa - thanks!

Kylee - I think it may qualify as inspiration, not copying! I'd love to see your wonderful pictures. Beware, it might take a while to do. That's why I didn't' write anything, pictures only!

What sort of marmalade oranges have you got there in January?? I didn't think that Seville oranges made their way to the USA.

I don't know why, but I think my favorite photo is the socks on the line. Even everyday objects can be beautiful, right?

Great selection!
