I spent the last week in LA, and have spent this weekend taking advantage of the wonderfully warm weather we're having (I'm not bragging, just saying...). So I have been avoiding the computer until right now.
I've been a little busy since I've been home.
I have some fun pictures from SoCal to share, and lots of emails to return soon. I'll get to them all tomorrow I hope!

Jealous! Although sun here today, highs in the high 40s counts as "warm" these days so I'll take it. Glad you had a good trip! Any rain there yet?
Like Karen, you cannot believe how jealous I am of your weather. I saw where you was planting on the side yard and landscaping and bragging... oh well!
I will just have to be jealous, because SW Missouri is not going to become like California any time soon.

Karen - Southern California is like a different world, surreal almost. And it was 89 degrees one of the days I was there. I had to pinch myself to make sure it was real! No rain here for the last couple weeks, and the 10 day forecast is not looking all that promising.
Rick - Sorry! I really am not trying to rub it in. I could never live somewhere where it snows, sleets, or ices up. That is so foreign to this CA-native! Spring always arrives in due time.
Since I'm seeing negative numbers on the thermometer for the first time in the 10 years I've lived in this house, I have no patience for warm weather braggers. I'm giving serious thought to running away to FL.
